P.A.U.S.E.™ is a five step mindfulness technique designed as a road map to guide you through challenging situations, in the navigation of relationships and with your personal and professional self development.  In this training I will take you through the 5 steps of P.A.U.S.E.™ using meditations, interactive exercises, some self-reflection techniques and conversation.  The P.A.U.S.E.™ method is easy to remember and practice so after this training you will feel like you have everything you need to stay focused, open, relaxed and balanced.  But be careful... you might feel that way during the training as well.

Balance in your life -

You are bombarded everyday with challenges at work and at home that throw you out of the present moment and into worry, stress, confusion and frustration.  I want to show you simple ways to stay present in each moment; the moment where life is happening and positive action can be taken.  Getting lost in your past frustrations or future worries does you no good.  My aim is to show you why it's important to be mindful of the present and how by doing this you can make better choices, find more openness for ideas and creativity and feel more at peace and balanced when life is comin' at ya fast.

Most of the time your mind leads you around all day without you even paying attention and you react to everything that hits you vs. responding to it.  If you pay attention to what your mind is telling you, then you can make better decisions and choices about what it is saying and decide if you want to listen to it or change those thoughts. You can learn to let go of the thoughts that no longer serve you and literally reshape the way you see your world and focus on more positivity, possibility, expansion and growth.

In 2011, Sara Lazar and her team at Harvard found that mindfulness meditation can actually change the structure of the brain: Eight weeks of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was found to increase cortical thickness in the hippocampus, which governs learning and memory, and in certain areas of the brain that play roles in emotion regulation and self-referential processing. There were also decreases in brain cell volume in the amygdala, which is responsible for fear, anxiety, and stress.”
